Reiki
Distance Reiki is a form of energy healing that is based on the principles of Reiki, a Japanese holistic healing technique.
In traditional Reiki, a practitioner uses their hands to channel universal life energy (often referred to as "ki" or "chi") into a recipient's body to promote physical and emotional healing. Distance Reiki, on the other hand, allows the practitioner to send healing energy to a person who is not physically present, whether they are in another location or even in a different part of the world.
This practice is based on the belief that energy is not constrained by physical proximity and can be directed across distances.
Here's how Distance Reiki works:
• Intention and Connection: The practitioner and the recipient both set an intention for the Reiki session. The recipient may have specific issues they want to address, such as physical pain, emotional stress, or overall well-being. The practitioner also sets their intention to send healing energy.
• Preparation: The practitioner typically finds a quiet and focused space to conduct the session. They may use symbols or other tools commonly associated with Reiki to enhance their connection with the energy.
• Visualization and Focus: The practitioner visualizes a connection with the recipient, much like how they would during an in-person session. They imagine the recipient's energy and establish a connection.
• Energy Channeling: The practitioner uses Reiki symbols or other methods to channel healing energy. They mentally direct the energy to the recipient, regardless of the physical distance.
• Sending Energy: The practitioner starts the healing process, sending energy to the recipient with the intention of addressing their specific needs. This energy can work on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, helping to balance and clear any blockages or disturbances in the recipient's energy field.
• Sensations and Feedback: Some recipients report feeling sensations during a Distance Reiki session, such as warmth, tingling, or relaxation. However, others may not experience any noticeable sensations but can still benefit from the healing energy
• Closing the Session: The practitioner concludes the session by expressing gratitude and disconnecting from the recipient's energy. They may also provide feedback or insights gathered during the session.
Distance Reiki is often offered by certified Reiki practitioners, and it can be conducted through Zoom. It very relaxing.
